I had dinner at Angler's Cove Restaurant Friday night while staying at the Jesse Stewart Greenbo State Park Lodge. I was joined by my sister and a close friend and her boyfriend.
We all went for the buffet at $14.99 each. There was so much to choose from such as meatloaf, catfish, pork loin and beef tips for main entrees. Many sides to choose from such as corn, green beans, potatoes, and broccoli casserole. There was even a salad bar. And most importantly a dessert bar!
The food was very flavorful, even though some items were a little too salty for my taste. The catfish was amazing! And I really liked the meatloaf as well. If you like down home country food this is the place for you. I had the hot banana pudding for dessert. I was kind of thrown off by the name as I've never heard of it, however it was delicious!
It gets really packed for dinner and they close at 8 PM. I suggest showing up around 6 PM, to avoid the rush. Saturdays and Sundays are their busiest.
